About The "Friends" |
| The Friends of Hampshire County Children's Choir, is a registered charity that aims to provide support to the choir and its musical director.
The Friends principal aim is to raise funds for items such as music, travel, accommodation, and refreshments. It's members also provide support at rehearsals, concerts and other events throught out the year. The Friends consist primarily of parents of the Choir's Members, with a committee being elected annually at the AGM. |
Membership of the choir is open to children aged 9-14 who live in Hampshire and successfully pass an audition.

Auditions are normally held once a year at the end of June or beginning of July. Under certain circumstances additional auditions may be held at other times of the year.
